Measure Calculation in ChARM EHR: AUTOMATIC and MANUAL
This measure is calculated based on the influenza vaccine administered for patient seen between Oct 1st and Mar 31st.
To satisfy this measure, influenza vaccine needs to be administered for patients with Age >= 6 months and seen between Oct 1st and Mar 31st. Record the Influenza vaccine administered under Patient Dashboard > Vaccines section. Alternatively, the vaccination procedure can also be recorded under 'Encounter > MU' section to satisfy this measure.
Denominator Exception: Patients can be automatically exempted if they are having diagnoses of ‘Allergy to Eggs’ (Sample ICD10 code : T78.08XA, T78.08XD ), 'Allergy to Influenza Vaccine' (Sample SNOMED code : 294647003, 294648008), 'Intolerance to Influenza Vaccine' (Sample SNOMED code : 293113005, 390796006)
In addition, you can manually exempt a patient from denominator, based on the other conditions listed below under 'Encounter > MU' section.
