December 2023

Season's Greetings from CharmHealth!

Wishing you and your loved ones joy, peace, and prosperity this holiday season. Thank you for your continued support. May the coming year be filled with success and happiness. Happy holidays from all of us at CharmHealth!

LOOKING FORWARD TO 2024

Technology and healthcare are ever evolving. So where are they headed in 2024? Read below our predictions for the coming year.

  1. The pandemic led to widespread shortages in healthcare workers, increased fatigue and lowered morale. As clinician-morale continues to suffer, we will see a turn to AI -based copilots supporting medical workers to improve productivity. With the rising opportunities for hybrid work, medical professionals will turn increasingly to the "sharing-economy" to control their own schedules and workload.
  2. Entrepreneurs launching hybrid health care services will continue to grow and provide a means for healthcare providers to ease back into the profession they trained for and love.
  3. Patients will engage with managing their own healthcare (and its costs) in larger numbers through their portals, wearable devices, and access to online choices for doctors, connected devices, labs, prescription sites, telehealth consults, etc. Increased price transparencies in prescription drugs will drive patients to actively manage their healthcare costs.
  4. Mid-sized medical groups, through their agile implementation of modern health-tech, will grow as an attractive alternative to large groups, particularly in primary care.
  5. Senior health care will become more efficient due to increasing adoption of remote patient monitoring and telehealth devices.
