Modified Stage 2

Clinical Decision Support

a) Clinical Decision Support Interventions

EPs must attest YES to implementing five clinical decision support interventions related to four or more clinical quality measures at a relevant point in patient care for the entire EHR reporting period.

ChARM EHR Workflow:

CDS rules implemented in ChARM EHR are listed under Settings > Encounter > CDS section. Practice Administrator of the account has to enable minimum five CDS rules for the Provider role to satisfy this measure.

b) Drug-drug and drug-allergy interaction

EPs must attest YES to enabling and implementing the functionality for drug-drug and drug-allergy interaction checks for the entire EHR reporting period.

ChARM EHR Workflow:

By default, ChARM EHR provides Drug-Drug and Drug-Allergy interaction alerts while prescribing medications. There is no additional action required from providers to satisfy this measure.

If required, the practice administrator can configure the alert severities to be shown from Settings > Rx > Drug Interaction section.
