Denominator : Number of unique patients seen by the Provider during the EHR reporting period.
Numerator : Number of patients in the denominator who are provided patient-specific education resources.
Stage 1 Goal : 10%

ChARM EHR Workflow :
If patient has PHR account, you can share handouts and educational materials from Encounter > Handouts section.
If patient doesn't have PHR account, you can provide paper handouts and manually check the 'Provide patient-specific education' option under Encounter > 'Meaningful Use Measures' section.
