PLEASANTON, Calif., July 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --MedicalMine Inc. today announced that its comprehensive, cloud-based EHR and practice management solution, CharmHealth EHR, has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. The certification verifies that CharmHealth EHR software complies with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“This certification validates the functionality and usability of CharmHealth EHR,” said Pramila Srinivasan, CEO of MedicalMine Inc. “CharmHealth EHR is an economical and scalable solution for providers. It can be used to improve productivity and patient outcomes, while complying with the 2014 edition of ONC-ACB certification as a Complete Ambulatory EHR.”

Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the Meaningful Use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology — a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

CharmHealth EHR is built to address the needs of small and medium-sized medical practices. The cloud-based EHR product is economical, easy to use, and complements the workflow of the practice.
