View Image Orders

  1. Go to Home page and click on 'Images' icon.
  2. Select 'Image Orders' section to view the imaging orders of the patients.

Add Image Order during Consultation

  1. Go to the Home page and click on the 'Patients' icon. Select the Patient for whom you need to order Imaging.
  2. Select the '+ Encounter' button to create a consultation from the Patient Dashboard.
  3. Scroll down to select the 'Images' tab in the chart note. You can choose the Imaging tests from the 'Templates', 'Past Orders', or 'Add Image' options. Choose the Image Type and tests you need to prescribe for the Patient.

  4. The imaging test will get added to the recommendation.
  5. On adding the images, the selected tests can be mapped to one or more diagnoses by clicking the 'Map Dx' button. Once the codes get mapped, you can see the mapped codes against each image order.

Add Image Order without Consultation

  1. Go to the 'Images > Image Orders' section.
  2. Click on the '+ Image Order' button and select the Patient to whom you need to add the Image Order.

  3. You can add the order either from the 'Search & Add' or 'Templates' section. Choose the Image Type and tests you need to prescribe for the Patient and click on the 'Save' button.

  4. The added order will get listed in the Image Orders section.

Mark Order as Complete

When the complete results are entered in the image order, the status of the image order is automatically changed to 'Completed'. When a part of the image order results has not been entered, the corresponding image orders will be in a 'Partial/Pending' state. These image orders can be manually marked as 'Completed' if you do not expect the part of the results to come in the future. Follow the below steps to mark the order as Completed.

  1. Go to the 'Images' > 'Image Orders' section.
  2. Click on the 'More Options' (...) icon against the image order and select the 'Mark as Completed' option.

Print Image Order

  1. Go to the 'Images > Image Orders' section.
  2. Click on the 'More Options' (...) icon against the order and click on the 'Print Image Order' option to print the Image order.

Share Image Orders to Patient

To share the Image Orders to the Patient Portal, follow the steps given below.

  1. Go to the 'Images > Image Orders' section.
  2. Click on the 'More Options' (...) icon against the Image order to be shared and select either the 'Share by Text' or 'Share to PHR' option. Click on the 'OK' button to share the Image order.

Note: The 'Share to PHR' option will be present only when the Patient has a Patient Portal account.

Import Imaging Results

  1. Go to the 'Images > Image Orders' section.
  2. Click on the 'More Options' (...) icon against the Imaging order and select the 'Import Results' option.

  3. Upload the image, enter the interpretation, and save the result.

Note: You can also import the image results in the 'Image Results' section. The imported results will get listed under this section.
